Great singer, great talent.

`Shake A Tailfeather` will be somewhat poignant at our gig this weekend.

Cheers

A great man. I only realised how great when my dad blew his stack when Freddy Starr did that pathetic impression of him.

Time may be robbing us of all the great pioneers, but they will live on forever through their ground breaking music

Still one of the best purchases I`ve ever made, The Complete Country & Western Recordings 1958-1986. A 4 disc boxset with beautiful hardback book as well. An absolute must have IMHO, and I`m sure I only paid about £18 from Amazon about 4/5 years ago.

I`d recommend to anybody.

He`ll be sorely missed indeed.

Ray Charles. One of the greatest singers their will ever be. Not all his music was to my taste but when you hear him sing any kind of music, it stood out. He put SOUL into Country & Western (if thats possible). He was a great rocker & had a beautiful voice for his ballads. He sang blues better than most. Ray Charles really was one of the greats. RIP.

`Hit the road Jack`
`Georgia on my Mind`
`I Can`t stop loving you`
`What`d I say`
`Born to lose` one of my favorites
& so many more.
