I got Acen trip 2 the moon parts one and two...
how`s that?
"There he goes. One of God`s own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
I love that tune! I was going to hack out the bit that samples `you only live twice` and use it as a ring tone (or desecrate it, if you will)
Im a big fan of 4Heros `Mr Kirks Nightmare` and prodigy`s `What evil lurks`.
What im listening to (if youre interested)
they are both excellent singles.. I was a bit of a raver back in the day, not much other than a few mixtapes exist now though..
have you heard the James Hyman james bond remixes? they use acen and you only live twice to very godo effect.. worth a DL..

Nice one :)
My `rave` (and when i say rave, my definition usually means 1990-1993 UK/ Belgian stuff) classics:
Cubic 22- Night In Motion
Rhythm Section- Feel The Rhythm
Urban Shakedown- Some Justice
Blame- Music Takes You (2 Bad Mice Remix)
Jonny L- Hurt U So
Nebula II- Seance (one of Goldies favourite tunes, I read in an interview)
Outlander- Vamp (this samples `The Sound` by Reese, an old techno record from 1987)
great stuff :)

Bombscare - 2 bad mice was cool.
Erm.....ottomh.....
I liked Brutality - 808 state feat man Parish, actually anything by 808 state (cubik and so on)..Injected With A Poison - Praga Khan, Go - Moby, that other one by moby with the hoover bassline that i can never remember the name of, Nightmare`s On Wax - Aftermath, The Future Sound Of London - Papua New Guinea and of course Ratpack - Searchin` For My Rizzla. Oh and On a Ragga Tip was pretty cool, back in the day.
The early proto jungle like Demons Theme by Bukem and things like that and the early ragga jungle like `Sweetie Pie` were always my favourite. Wasnt as much in to the straight up rave stuff because I wasnt hugely keen on all the piano stabs. More dubby stuff with dirty basslines.

There were hundreds of `hoover` tunes then, but the main ones were Second Phase- Mentasm and Human Resource- Dominator which were both by Joey Beltram I believe.
That sound is easy to make, apparently it`s a factory preset on an Alpha Juno (Roland synth from c88) called simply:
`what the?...`
Excellent stuff.
