"Damaged People" by Depeche Mode

Certainly not one of their best, but a damn fine song nevertheless, and certainly grows on you. Production sounds a bit like japan of old, no bad thing.
Nice to hear a song with heart, soul and...gasp...real words!

I can hear Dr.42 percent and a bit in the corridor now.

hi there,"damaged people" is only the tip of the iceberg."PLAYING THE ANGEL" is a goram fine album from Depeche Mode. This collection of songs marks a welcome.. return to form, which i feel has been missing from their last few albums. But hey what do i know,im just another nut with a voice.

Going to give the album a listen too tonight.
Umpteen remixes of "Precious" are also about.

Playing The Angel is a bit of a grower. It probably won`t impress you much on first listen (well, it didn`t with me) and Precious sticks out like a sore thumb.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn...

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

I`ve now listened to the album several times. On first listen it was a bit so-so. Second listen, hooked. Brilliant album.

Been in my motor since the release date, driving much slower now days so i can hear more tracks on my journeys, very, very good indeed, don`t like Macro (yet) though and Damaged People is i`m afraid my second least favorite but I absolutely love all the other tracks, very much looking forwards to seeing them 3 times next year now! :D

PS: Set lists look promising from the US leg.

For those that are interested, there are several good remixes of "A Pain I`m Used To" doing the (cough) rounds.
