Page 1 of So, did anyone manage to get a POLICE ticket?

Logged onto See tickets and Ticketmaster at 9 am .....forty minutes later and I have one ticket (sad bast**d) to see them in Wales on the 19th October .....need to lay down now.

Tried (and failed) here...oh well, saw them back in the day when they were younger and I`ll save myself £`s now and get the DVD when it (inevitably) comes out !

why log in... come to me i am sure i can think of a reason to give most of you a ticket! ;)

Logged on at 9.30. Entered two tickets. Put in the word check thing. Told there was a problem with my ticket selection. Tried again with only one ticket. Told tickets were not on sale. Called. Sold out. Looked on ebay. LOADS! Angry? A bit. Think its expensive anyway. It was easier to see Sting on his own.

Washu, i had exactly the same problems. I originally wanted a ticket for Birmingham ....was gonna give up at one point.

I think it really stinks that people who are not bothered about going buy tickets just to make a killing on e-bay and genuine fans then end having to pay stupid prices. It`ll be interesting to see how sucessful the Glastonbury system of buying tickets is.

I think Glastonbury have the right idea ,although it isn`t viable for smaller events (would have worked for this though) basically between 1 Feb- 28 Feb you can register to buy tickets but you need photo to be submitted aswell as it will go on your ticket, and then you can apply to purchase tickets on 1 April, ebayers are f***ed!! :D

Ps- I seriously thought this was about getting a driving ticket for talking on your mobile phone when I saw the thread title yesterday :/

If you wait and buy the dvd, I understand it comes with an extra disc with 7.5 hours of tantric sex :D
