Page 1 of which is the best graphics card the radeon 9600pro or geforce fx5600?

which is the best as i have seen conflicting reviews in magazines.

hmmm,difficult one,if you can get hold of the 9500 pro radeon
blows both these cards away.

The ATI Radeon 9600Pro is the option to go for it is faster than the Geforce but if you want the fastest card available on the market then it has to be 9800 series with 256 mb DDR there aint nothing faster than that currently.. blows everything away...

As someone said, If you can get a 9500pro get one. It`s better across the board.

It`s interesting to see that the GeForce guys screwed around with their drivers to exploit some flaw in the 3D benchmarks (using 3D Mark) which made their card perform better than ATI`s

I always find the hardware reviews on ZDNet.co.uk really useful - and pretty informative for this kind of thing.

I`m running a Gainward Geforce4 Ti4600 (the "Golden Sample" version)
And it takes everything I can throw at it.

If I had the spare cash I would have bought the ATI though
