PLEASE HELP!!!
i trying to copy my digital pictures on to disc`s to play on my dvd player.
i`ve tried several times to use vcd easy and the windows media player without any success....are there any other downloads or can any recomend any other software..... :(
It`s not necessarily the software, rather the DVD player itself. I`ve got a samsung 709 that won`t play any kinde of cd-r at all.
anyhoo, try Ahead Nero, or powerproducer. they ake some fiddling with, but it`s worth it
RE: BURN, BABY, BURN!!!
can nero be down loaded or do i need to buy it.....if so where`s the best deal....
thank in advance :D
Are you using VCDEasy or Easy VCD?
If VCD Easy let me know what you`re doing and I`ll try and help.
I bought my Nero software package (latest version) from a firm on ebay for £6. Totally legit and works great.
Alternativley you could try downloading a version for free from Kazaa - if you can find a version that works and doesn`t have viruses attached!
RE: BURN, BABY, BURN!!!
i`m using vcd easy though i just downloaded a new version from their website that appears to only let you format 5 pictures at a time. i tried vcd easy a few months back which allowed me to format lots of pictures, however on that occation also they would not burn onto a disc....the error was something to do with the drivers being switched off?????....does that makes any sense......
do i need to try and get a old copy of vcd easy first????
thanks in advance
phil
RE: BURN, BABY, BURN!!!
whats nero like????
was in pc world on saturday and saw it there....seemed to have alot of stuff i`d not use.
Hi phil,
If your dvd player supports Jpegs then forget vcd it`s only making things complicated .
I have an old version of Nero and set it to compile as Data, then drag & drop my Jpeg pics & and burn them to cd, they then play on my dvd as a slide-show, this will only work on a dvd player that supports Jpegs or Kodak disks........check your dvd handbook.
Hope this helps
Antz.
Thats a bit wrong - I use NERO to put my jpegs on a disc, and it works fine on my player which deosn`t play jpegs - it just treats each photo as an individual chapter so pressing next goes tot he next photo.
As you need to do is select video cd and drag and drop your photos. Its the easiest way of making a picture disc that will play on any player that supports VCDs. I did this and also put some video footage I shot in California on the same disc and it works perfectly.
Do you have the aspi layer installed?

What does VCDEasy say at the bottom of the window in the status bar?
