Hi all, I am a newbie to all this pc lark and I have noticed quite a few times that when a post includes a web address all thats needed is to click on the word here and you are taken to the web site.
Can someone tell me how this is done and if this can be done when composing an e-mail ?

If you start to write a message in the message box, scroll down a little and you`ll see all the codes you can use.

If you`re using Internet Explorer, type Please Click Here, highlight the whole text, then click the Url button above. You`ll be prompted to enter the Internet URL for whatever link you want to place, and it`ll put the URL in for you.

If you want to do it manually, or you`re using a different web browser (such as the excellent Mozilla Firefox!), then follow this:

For URL`s with just a Please Click Here type thing, simply use <url="http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/">Please Click Here</url>. Just paste the URL from the address bar in the browser into the right place, after the <url=" bit.

Replace the open/closed angled brackets with square open/closed brackets, [ ]. Anything in the Please Click Here portion of the above code will be printed on screen. So you could have a completely formatted URL with http etc if you wanted to.
