Just installed Mailwasher on the advice of another forum member. Seems to trap the rubbish, i.e. e-mails with potential viruses. Don`t know how Mailwasher would work with "scam" e-mails other than prevent them getting to your in box. Why not give it a go, it`s a free prog. There is a link for a download somewhere in these threads, try a search.

why don`t you create a message rule to send this sheite into the deleted items
folder?

or, alternatively if they`re from the same sender put `em on the blocked senders list.

I installed mailwasher to filter out the crap in my inbox. I started with about 40 spam messages a day, after using mailwasher for a week I was up to 130 a day!!!!! In the end I arranged to have my email address deleted. I would avoid mailwasher, it only seems to make matters worse.

Mailwasher is good, but turn off the "bounce" function as it seems to tell whoever sent the Spam that you ARE there! Got loads when I used the "bounce", hardly any, now.
