Page 1 of trouble enabeling GPRS/WAP on nokia 3100 (o2) pay as go......

I am trying to get my nokia 3100 wap/gprs enabled so i can download stuff etc.
Iwent into my local o2 shop and asked them and there connection was down so i had to come home and get the details from there site sent to my phone , but it just isnt working.
Has anyone else had this problem with there 3100 ?
Help please....... :(

Ok, here`s what i`ve got input into my 3100, (man, i`ve got WAY too many phones - 6230, 6600, NEC616, Nokia 7600, 3100 and a Nokia 3510i...)

westy, any idea what settings i`d need on my contract 6230 ? i usually get them from o2`s website but the phone is not listed and having rang them up they could not give me the settings either :( looking for the gprs/mms settings, any help apreciated. :D

Edit.....Ok I have just checked my settings and they are exactly as you have them , but for one thing.....IT STILL SAYS GPRS CONNECTION NOT AVAILABLE...!!!

I just got them from the Nokia website guys, for all of my Nokia`s, and they all work fine. BTW Ogster, when you go to the Nokia site, the settings should be in there for the 6230, if not, use the 7600 settings, that`ll be fine ;)

I am off down the o2 shop and they can bloody well sort it out.
Pah..!

Went down the local o2 shop, and they told me i had to wait 48 hours from when i got the settings sent to my phone..THEY NEVER BLOODY TOLD ME THAT YESTERDAY.... could have saved me a wasted journey down the town...idiots. >:(

you generally get a setup text within 20 minutes

EDIT= remember to clear any settings you may already have before saving the setup text
