Slightly off topic I know, but I may be getting a 6230 in about a week and just wondered what your overall thoughts of the phone are?
Cheers

If you use the latest Nokia Suite Software and click on Nokia Application installer you can easily transfer your game files over to your phone, all you do is select the folder where the games are and you can transfer them over. The rules are you can install anything to your memory card but when it comes to games you need to use the suite to transfer game files to the application folder of your phone.Hope this helps!

RE: JAVA GAMES FOR 6230 :::::::::HELP:::::::::::
Couldn`t agree more with ogster. My 6230 beats my clunky old SE T610 in every conceivable way. Typing in text messages is v quick (compared to the T610 where you used to type then wait for it to catch up!), MP3 playback is excellent with the supplied earphones (I have 256Mb MMC card installed - see here for details - note they now do a 1Gb MMC card :-) Be careful not to try SD cards by the way - they are thicker (2.1 mm vs 1.4 mm for MMC) and will not fit the 6230.
The keyboard is really nice to type on and I love the way it uses the MMC card for storage. I have loads and loads of text messages stored going back a couple of months! Oh yeah, and I love being able to use MP3s as ringtones - I have a gorgeous snippet of a Steve Vai track (Jibboom) as my main ringtone. 8)

See what i thought here too for another opinion.
Be careful with MMC cards as the processor in the phone cannot read anything above a 512mb without some degree of difficulty.
A truly excellent phone which, despite having a lousy screen, (Nokia really wimped out there, they could have easily fitted the excellent large display from the 7600), is almost perfect! :) Love mine, but still like my 6600 more ;) Symbian flexibility vs Series 40? No contest!

Symbian flexibility vs Series 40? No contest!
i partially agree, BUT the 6230 has an amazing battery life & stereo mp3 + radio + it`s quite a bit smaller, so it depends what you want out of the phone, if you want a VERY cool & powerful os for aplications etc, then the 6600/3650/n-gage etc are the ones to go for, but if like me you need mp3/good battery life (playing mp3`s on the n-gage at full blast would drain a battery in around 3hrs, the 6230 lasts around 12-15hrs on the exact same battery-bl5-c) i also agree about the mmc sizes, the n-gage etc will read a 256meg card in a couple of seconds whilst the 6230 will take about 10seconds to initialise.
WESTY, any help with the java game probs ? cheer`s :D
