Page 1 of NEC 616ev mobile

I`ve been offered one of these for £20, but it is on the 3 network, I wanted to give it to someone for xmas and i know they are on vodafone PAYG.

Does anyone know if it`s easy (and cheap) to get these unlocked and is it a good phone for the price?

tbh, 3 network phones can be a bitch, even once they are unlocked :( they tend to look for the 3 signal and throw a wobbly when they detect another networks 3g system (or fail to see the standard 2g signal alltogether) personaly i`d give it a miss. but i suppose it depends how much you want the phone :)

I`m not desperate for the phone at all - it`s been offered as P/E plus a bit of cash for anh unlocked nokia 2100 I`m getting rid off.
