just started out in the workld of dvd and as a complerte novice have the following question to ask.
I recently purchased the 4KUS dvdr 230 from ASDA to replace my VHS and am over the moon with all aspects of it.
What i want to be able to do next is to edit the video i have captured on DVDR or RW be it either recorded TV or files transfered from my old VHS tapes on my PC and burn it to DVD again.
Can some one please provide me with or point me in the right direction as to what steps to take , what software is and extra hardware i may require?
I am a complete beginer in this area so i apologise for my in advance

Cheers

Jim

I use Womble MPEG Video Wizard 2003. I record onto a DVD+RW and this software allows the bits at start/end to be removed, also the ad breaks. After saving the results on PC then need DVD authoring software to put it back on a DVD-R. I use Ulead Video Studio 8. Done about 30 so far all excellant results including those from VHS

Both the above can be found using Google
