Hi, can some body give me advice on which povider to use, at the moment
I`m with AOL on 56k Dial up, but i do not think i want to carry on with AOL when i decide to go on Broadband. my next door nieghbour is useing Plusnet, and he seem`s to be quite happy with there service, but there are a lot of providers out there,
So who is the BEST ?
Have a look at ADSLGuide for a comparison. I`m on cable myself, but I`m sure I recently read that Plusnet (used to be Force9 I believe) are soon to offer an 8Mb connection for a very reasonable price. It will be capped, but even so...
also consider NTL there customer service is absolutely fraggin awful, but the prices are good when the new speed increase goes up you`ll get 2meg for £25 a month (30gig per month cap) & thats hard to beat :)

PlusNet is the one to go for from 1 April 2005, as it stands at present. £21.99 per month, 30GB download cap per month plus 230GB offpeak download cap (1-8am) per month. Speed you get will be at least 2MB, and if you live near a 8mb-enabled exchange, you`ll get that speed without any further price increase :)
