Page 1 of Ipod

Does anyone know how to get music from an Ipod onto thecomputer. I want to transfer sme music to frinds Ipod but cant. Help!!!

Had this problem the other day, a student had a new PC and wanted to pull her music back from her Ipod to her new machine. The old laptop wouldnt boot.

From what I saw the software is designed so you cant add music to the Ipod and then pull the music back down again onto another PC, for copy protection reason. However there are a few utils bouncing around the net so a search on google should find something to do the job. I think the one we used was called EphPod.

Anyway, sashenden is right, Ephpod is what you need (www.ephpod.com)
Does exactly what you want. Just remember not to save the iPod database (since Ephpod doesn`t work with the smart playlists)

Seems to explain how although I borrowed Secrets of the ipod from the library and there was I`m sure a much simpler way
