Can anyone recommend a free (or pretty cheap) WYSIWYG web editor
I`m currently using MS-FrontPage Express but it doesn`t work very well with style sheets & mangles your HTML.
Ideally I`d like something that:
- supports style sheets
- is compatible with IE 5/6
- won`t mangle my existing HTML
- let`s you edit in WYSIWYG or HTML mode
Thanks!
go to download.com and search for wysiwyg.
There are loads on there with varying licences and restrictions. They also vary depending on your level of madd html skillz.
Theres something for everyone so its worth checking out.

The nice lady above forgot to post this link which she posted for me some time ago.
Well worth a look though I haven`t done as much about it as I should.

RE: Best free wysiwyg web editor
yeah, thanks :/
I know how to search for wysiwyg editors, but I`ve tried 3-4 already (FrontPg Express, Nuvo, Webdwarf & another I forget) and can`t get on with them.
Hence I asked for some recommendations (so I don`t spend months downloading rubbish).
I`m also perfectly capable of writing HTML, but a lot of the pages I`ll be developing are very verbose, with minimal formatting. Hence a wysiwyg editor will be quicker/easier.
Now has anyone please got some helpful recommendations...
totally. If your skillz are that mad then you should know what to look for in the first place...
If they are going to be that `verbose` just fanny around with them in word and select `save as web page`. But I assume you already know that, being so l33t at teh intarweb......
