My friend is thinking about doing a bit of a dodge with his phone , his idea is to lose it ;) and then cliam a new one , obvisly the company will block it and render it useless , is their anyway of unblocking it?

I promise the that the phone is not stolen as he has had it for about 10 months and just wants a new one and I was hoping to get it unblocked and give it to my mum .

Is it possible ?If not then no worries .

if it`s "blocked" then the simple answer is no, & if blocked (ie, reported lost/stolen) it`s even illegal to attempt to get around it (honest guv)

but it should work outside europe. not that that helps :D

unlocking is of course completely different & dead easy.

hold on if its on contract and ur friends had it ten month why not hang the other 2 month then the phones his and he will get a upgrade
