hi im loking to swap my acer 17" tft for a 19" or bigger crt,wust be able to display 1600x1200 and be failry new......my tft is in excellent working order with no dead pixels and a 10 or 12 ms responce time ( cant rememebr :D) the model number is al1716


i live in mansfield and would rather meeet up or i would collect if close enough

hi i thought id post this incase any1 is on the look out for a tft,i got a acer 17"tft from comet for £149 the other day and its great for the money its got a 12Ms response time which aint bad for the price and plenty of features

u can try winavi as thats pretty fast but 8 hr is what ud expect for ur set-up,im running a p4 2.8 with a gig of ram and it takes me on average 2hr 30 mins,either buy a divx player or a upgrade/new setup m8,u wont get anything near a hr transcode unless u buy a dual cpu

yeah there good m8 for the money i got the 420 disc 1 and its pretty sturdy(my 20 month old has been playing on it :D) the only drawback is that the keys for the lock aint the best

its more than likely down to the media ur using m8 as some dvd-r/dvd-rw wont play on some dvd players ive this problem b4,ur best bet is to try somewhere that sells sample media like in pascks of 2-5 ect,try svp.co.uk i get all my media from there,cos they cheap and del fast

just remeber 1 thing it dont matter if its 128 or 256 mb of ram its the chipset it uses,its no good having loads of ram if u have a crap chip.....

i got a 6600gt 128mb u can pick em up for about £120 now and its never let me down yet
