Page 1 of has anyone here had their broadband increased by Telewest yet??

About a month ago I recieved a letter from Telewest stating that they were going to increase my broadband free of charge in the very near future but have yet to hear anything else from them since!

Has anyone here had theirs increased or at least recieved any more info from them??

Lots of areas have been done - the upgrades started in Scotland. The even faster upgrades page on the website has the current schedule but it`s not a full list.

I heard my upgrade is scheduled for 20th November, but dunno how accurate that is. I have already had some very very high speeds showing on my NetMeter - peaking at about 860KB/s that I`ve witnessed, but it was showing at 1.25MB/s in the peak download speed! So there must be some testing going on.

I received an e mail from Blueyonder on the 25th October telling me I had been upgraded from 1Mb up yo 4Mb. And my upstream speed increased from 128k to 384k.

To be honest, not being computer literate I don`t know what it means :/

I live in St Helens + apparantly we are to be upgraded at the end of this month ... :D

Seems like it`s not so grim up north as mine (South Shields) has been upgraded.
