Page 1 of Best playstation emulator?

I`ve tried a couple but they`re very unweildly, too fast a frame rate or they just won`t load the discs. Anyone had any success with any?

Assume you mean PSX Stantz?
If so, then yes. At work at the mo though so can`t remember the name of the emulator.

Bleem`s still about, but it`s compatibilty list is small. And as you say, it`s no longer being updated, so support is non-existent.

I use ePSXe you can adjust the frame rate,so it works fine with import games.

Think i got it from mininova.

tried that, but it was being really difficult. Wouldn`t load up fear effect 2

Edit: Just gave it another go, loaded up, but didn`t display the whole screen. cut off the right hand side. Makes the rest of the screen go weird too..

Were you trying it with the disc or an image Stantz ?

If you create a disc image (with nero or something) it seems to play fine,using the disc it self i find it`s very picky.

Forgot to post yesterday...I`ve been using ePSXe
Not had a problem with it so far.

Yep ePSXe works great for me too but it can be a sod to set up properly - you need to find the right plugins and settings that works best for your rig. Also basically the more complex the game the more likely you are to have problems with it.
