Page 1 of I have Norton Anti-virus 2006 but it doesnt appear to have a firewall?

Is this right? I cant see a firewall yet its the 2006 version, do i have to buy a seperate one ? Surely its `all in` isnt it? Or have i bought an inferior product ? HELP!!! :B

If you`ve bought Norton `Anti-Virus` why did you expect it to have a firewall? If it`s just the AV product you bought you will need a third-pary firewall, of which there are many free on the Internet (as there are anti-virus products).

You might want to try Zonealarm as a free firewall. I run Kerio, but it`s been discontinued. I also stopped running Norton in favour of Grisoft`s AVG as Norton used to cause problems.

Its just that i had it once before and there was a firewall with the product, now when i look at this new version............i cant turn the firewall on or off as its not there ?

Maybe you had Norton Internet Security..

And don`t forget to enable Windows XP firewall before going on the internet to download anything!
