Check your computer`s Regional and Language settings via Control Panel.
Click on the `Languages` tab, and the `Details`.

If it doesn`t say something like `English (United Kingdom)` then that could have something to do with it. You can also customise all the currency things under the `Regional Options` tab.

or.. you have actually woken up in a different country, where the main currency is Jam (of various flavours) Strawberry being the highest denomination of course, with raspberry seedless being the equivalent of a penny

it could just be that when the web site was made, the font they used did not use the £ sign.
Is the prob with both IE and Firefox?
Also do you get this prob with all sites - what about ebay, amazon, and other UK aimed sites.
Did ur browser display the £ sign in ur own post?
