and shuting me down.

It happens on certain websites more than others. It certainly happens on this website, ntlworld when trying to obtain my webmail, and also Youtube.

It says "BT browser has detected a problem and must shut down"

I am accessing this site now by going to Google rather than the bookmark in my favourites.

I have on BT`s advice, un-installed the browser, and re installed. done this twice. i have also tried it through exploer, and i have also installed Mozilla firefox, and they all detect a problem and close down.

Can anyone she any light on this problem, or advise what i need to do to hopefully correct it?

Thanks

Uninstall every browser. Virus scan, defrag and then use firefox only.

have you got any download managers installed? C+VG`s site often causes my browser to crash, but that`s `cos the download manager is set to automatically get wmv files which they`ve embedded and it doesn`t like it sometimes.

so maybe it`s a browser plugin, could be quicktime, or anything like that.
