Page 1 of What program do I need to burn DVD`s?

Downloaded some US TV episodes and want to stick em on a DVD - hopefully so I can get about 3 episodes on one disc.
They have recorded into AVI files and I can play them on the PC through Windows Media Player.
I`ve got Nero, Any DVD and Clone DVD - will these programs do it or do I need something else? Tried with Nero and it will let me stick em on a CDR but not a DVD.
Do I have to split the files and how?
Any help greatly appreciated.

As above.

But just in case they are for you have you thought about grabbing a divx dvd player? Can pick one up for under 30squid now.

I keep all my series I download onto dvd, but can keep 12 episodes on each if you don`t have to convert and saves having loads of dvds everywhere. Aldi were doing an HD upscaling one for 39.99 a while back, not sure how good it was though.

you can get more than 3 progs on a dvd using Divx2DVD. I use it to convert Prison Break, Greys Anatomy, Lost etc so instead of just watching one prog you can waste a whole evening.

Has to be the full programme though I think

Thought you would, but mentioned just incase.

No one I know has ever heard of divx unbelievably. None of them even watch any of the American shows even the ones who have watched them and really liked them. :/ But will then sit there watching Big Brother, Hollyoaks, etc

Haa I know what you mean. I know loads of people who say things like `Oh I cant wait until insert American TV show here has finished playing over in the states and for it to be shown here` when you can just download it!!

You don`t need to convert them to anything then, and you ought to fit a lot more then three on a disc, just burn as a data disc in Nero.

There`s a chance some files could be incompatible with your player, if this happens, convert that individual ep and burn with other eps as a data disc.

Have tried this but it won`t let me put them on a DVD only CDR - says I need a plug in.
Have done it know with the progrma listed earlier in the thread
