Page 1 of Monitor driver updates

Got a bit of a problem with my monitor display so I`m trying to update the driver. Unfortunately it seems to be an almost impossible task for a novice such as myself, with broken links and sites that require registration before they`ll give it to you. I`ve got a Hansol 710P if anyone can assist; the Hansol driver update site was one with a broken link!
have you tried here:
http://www.hansol-us.com/drivers/drivers.html
both the lcd and crt drivers seem to download ok
My mum the same monitor and it also developed problems - the image refused to fill the entire screen, would randomly adjust width, etc. If that`s your problem too, then drivers didn`t fix it. :(

Thanks, er, yes I did find that yesterday and downloaded it but I`m not entirely sure what to do with the relevant (ICM?) file? My monitor suddenly refused to fill the screen but has stayed in that form ever since.
thats an icc profile and all it does is define the characteristics of the colours on your monitor (see here ).
There are no actual drivers for a monitor since its the graphics card that drives it and the characteristics of your monitor shouldn`t need updating.
Your problem is with the graphics drivers and the monitor more likely
Right, well that`s unlucky as I`ve just updated the graphics card drivers to no avail. I suspect that there`s some sort of conflict with summat I`ve installed previously so if anyone`s got a method of how to check this (without resorting to un-installing everything of course!) then please do tell!
I figured mum`s is just broken. Even reformatting did no good, it still happened. The stop-gap monitor she`s using (I`m buying a 17" tft after Christmas and she`s having my 15" one) doesn`t have the same problem.
