Page 1 of Sandisk SD card

Does anyone know of a free recovery program/app.
I've deleted from the card rather than the HDD I'd transferred to as the transfer seemed incomplete.

Everything I can find is either limited to a handful of images or it's wind up ware. All the way to from scan to XX files found till you get the 'Only ££££ to buy the prog' to recover them.

I used recuva a long time ago when the missus was v upset after taking a photo on her phone, then deleted it, it was the free version, seems it's been bought by ccleaner now, but hopefuly free version is still good?

I'd just ordered another memory card and was going to shelve this one till back from hols.
Thought it should be fairly simple as delete is just the equivalent of removing the label on the file, rather than format when I'd have been browning my trousers.
Still can always do with a another memory card.

Another thumbs up for Recuva, which I use a lot. FYI, if you just quick format the SD card the files may still be recoverable, as simple formatting is just bulk deleting, removing the labels as you mention. It's when you uncheck the 'quick format' box that's when the card is properly wiped.
