can anybody help my son put my remote on the coal fire
and i carnt get my player to work
does anybody know where i can order or buy one from
also hack for multi region

A standard philips DVD remote should handle most functions (except recording), you need to contact an authorised Philips dealer to purchase a replacement remote.

The 980 can be hacked for multi region using the standard Philips One4All hack - but the DVD Player needs to have the remote setting changed from "DVD Recorder" to "DVD Player" to apply the hack.

For such an expensive machine, I think it`s worth purchasing a proper, original replacement remote.
