Page 1 of Should I buy computer products from here?

Armed with my credit card I was about to make my first purchase from Eclipse Computers of Coventry(if youy read micro mart you will see their weekly 4 page advert) I just put the companys name in Google to find their web page when I found these customer reviews as well!

So have any of you guys had a bad/good experiences with this company?

I`d avoid them matey cos all those bad reviews ain`t coincidence

only if you live close to them and can return the products directly. I`ve had bad memory from them so asked them to test the stuff each time I bought from them . I`ve had to return a duff harddrive likewise and bought a modem from them that I suspect to be foreign as it wouldn`t work with a phone plugged into the same line but was fine otherwise.
I`d stick to dabs myself (or crucial memory for er memory as they`re cheap and send special delivery) as they have a larger selection and so far I`ve had no problems with them though others have

I`d recommend www.ebuyer.com for bits and give a second vote for crucial for memory.

Both have been fast an efficient, and I haven`t had any problems.

I`d say avoid ebuyer. I bought a heap of components from them and received a faulty hard drive and a bashed up floppy disk. I takes them FOREVER to get back in touch with you just so that you can send the faulty stuff back. I don`t think I will ever use them again - shame as the prices were good.

I would third crucial though.

Bought memory from them a little while back. No problems so far.

Gotta think about how many people that have got good service post about it compared to those that get bad service.
