Whats Going On At Play
Looks Like Play.com Are At It Again Same As Last Year,My Order Has Been In The Packing Stage For The Last 5,Days Anyone Else Had The Same Problem?.

I don`t want to sound like a broken record but, I ordered 2 discs on 14th April. Both were quoted as being in stock. Usually I get them within 4 days which is excellent. Today is now the 30th and 1 have only received one of them. I emailed Play and requested they send another one out. They replied within 90mins and are arranging to send another one out. V Good. BUT this item is now "Temporarily out of stock" so who knows how long it will take.
On the first occassion it was stuck on packing for 3 days, then said it was "posted" the day before the other DVD I received. Now they have chaged the status to "packing" again , which it has been on again for 3 days. I have lierally just check the status, and now it said it was posted on the 28th. Each day it says the item is out of stock. So where have they magiced one from in order to send it to me?
Again, anyone know what they are like on refunds in case this second one doesn`t turn up?

my last two orders were sent out at near lightspeed my current order is however stuck packing for 3 days, not amused considering I had a order from Future Entertainment come in 2 days and one from Amazon Canada in 3 from ordering and both arrived today... Play are looking extremly slow at the moment

There`s definately something a miss - I attempted to order the 2 series of Spaced last night (£9 a piece). Only 1 was in stock, but immediately after ordering they refunded me. I emailed them earlier today and they told me that I had something wrong with my account and I would have to phone them. After cancelling my orders I thought all was OK, but now the site appears to be fine and the status has changed to `packing`.
I asked if there was a problem with the site earlier and they denied all knowledge - they lied.

I`ve tried twice in the last 24 hours to order two GBA games, and twice they`ve rejected me for no apparented reason. This has happened once before and I had to call them so they could re-register my card.
Same here. They seem to have a problem with some CC, but other companies don`t at all.
still packing since last saturday! ... sigh... must take time to seal down a jiffy bag eh? looks like I`ll be emailing them tommorow and maybe even phoning monday...
Apparently some error on their system occurred a few days back, and they`re still fixing the problem. They said the order should be shipped within 24 hours from now. Waiting since Saturday? :S
I just wish they`d admitted to a system error when I phoned them - I pushed them, but they wouldn`t budge. Does anyone know how good Play are at honouring their agreements - as I`m now going to end up with 2 series 2 copies of Spaced, one is going back for a refund. Just hope I`m not going to be messed about.
I`ll swap you 1 for one of the 2 copies of "the Faculty" which are somewhere in the postal system since April 14th.
My bet is that I`m gonna get 0 out of 2 and have to fight to get a refund !!!
