where can I find cheap cdr`s/cdrw`s ?

raeble (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Friday, 5th September 2003, 22:52

I`m coming to the end of my supply of cdr`s which I think I paid about £25 for a hundred, way back when. I`ve seen a 100pack of imitation one`s on amazon for about £20. Is this the cheapest there is out there? Or are there cheaper one`s to be had?

Try your local computer fair. There are a few website selling CDRs but they charge for P&P. Just bought 50 unbranded this morning for £9.99 at a local computer shop.

Blankdiskshop are doing another of their 99p shipping weekends - just join their buyers club (you`ll get an e-mail once a week with the latest news) and spend over £30.

{CD 140} Overprint 80 minute CDR in packs of 100
What are overprints?
When manufacturers are printing CD-R`s, there`s a certain percentage that get printed wrongly. The normal procedure is for these discs to be overprinted to cover the original error and they can then be sold.
The nature of these discs means that they may sometimes have been handled by people more than non-overprinted discs, so you may find fingerprints on some discs.
After the discs have been overprinted they are shrink-wrapped in packs of 100 and shipped to us ready to ship to you.
Tested by us at 40x writing speed without problems.
-:Colours will vary:-

Blurb from their website.

Bought 200 about 6 months ago p&p £3.99 and arrived fairly quick, not a single coaster as yet and cost £11.99 for 100 buy 200 and p&p still £3.99.

PS. No fingerprints either!!
