A complaint about bigpockets...

Placed an order last month at big pockets for 100 blanks & 2 DVD writers (one black for my boss`s system, one beige) for work. Total cost about £450.

Initially there was a problem with the billing address entered which was my fault so hands up to that, however it took three phone calls at my expense average length 30 mins. I`m calling from Ireland so it`s not exactly a local call.

When the order eventually arrived (late) the black writer was beige. I call up & let them know there`s been some error & am told "Very sorry sir, we`ll send another one out to you it should be there next monday at the latest".

It`s now three weeks later & I`ve not recieved my replacement drive nor any communication despite several emails.

I call them, they say they`ll dispatch a drive immediatly, only it`ll have to be a lesser speced one than I ordered because they`re sold out of the original...

Another week later and... no contact, no drive (even though it was being "dispatched immediatly").

I need another 400 blanks this month (& around 300 a month for the next three months), but will NOT be shopping at bigpockets.

They`re an absolute disgrace.

I only ever bought 1 item from big pockets.. a dvd player that didn`t bloody work.. i had to chase them for a refund. and they never replied to my e-mails... the player was supposed to be bankrupt stock.. but was definately 2nd hand...

i will never use them again..

had no problems with the small stuff i`ve ordered from them, last time i ordered on a tuesday morning and recieved my order on a wednesday afternoon. my only complaint is the very high p&p for small items.

I bought +R disks, 25 for £13 pounds few weeks back. Returned them as first 2 were toast. they exchanged them for branded ones (ARITA) no questions asked.

I have used 4x Datawrite yellow -R for some time now. . never had a problem with them. have burned on sony, nec and lg dvd dual drives.
Try www.mediawrite.ie - 17 euro + VAT and delivery. Delivery is only 5 euro no matter what the size of your order is. The are an Irish company and delivery is usually next day with An Post SDS provided you order before a certain time.

I ordered 100 blank DVD`s ,50 Blank cd`s ,some DVD cases off Bigpockets on the 19th Jan.
The order was despatched around the 23rd of Jan.
2 weeks later no sign of it so I emailed them to find out where the order was.After about 4 emails I received a reply giving me the tracking number.
Entered the tracking number on Parcelforce to find out the order had been turned back at Dublin due to `Address unknown`.
I rang the courier company who are a disgrace.
Said they didnt know what the problem was so they had sent the order back to Bigpockets.
I rang Bigpockets to try and assertain wwhat the problem was.
I double checked my address .
The order was resent and the same thing happened again.
I tried to stop it being sent back and have it redirected but to no avail.
Bigpockets offered me a refund this week and apologised for the service.
Bigpockets were quite good but their courier is a shambles.
