It used to be HMV until I woke up and realised that I was being conned out of money that I`d worked hard for! >:(

During the few months preceeding their `sale` you can purchase a wide range of DVDs for the princely sum of £9.99 - you know the usual suspects... Hollow Man, Blue Streak etc etc

Then the `sale` arrives.... Suddenly these titles are included in the `buy one get one free` offer priced at £19.99!

If you want to be REALLY picky - not only are you NOT getting a DVD for free, you`re actually paying a penny more for than usual! You have to laugh!!!

I find TESCO reasonable on some DVDs, and plan to use the internet for the rest.

Fopp and Blockbuster.

Blockbuster are normally expensive, but my store have a clear out about twice a year where they get rid of a large amount of retail and ex-rental DVDs for ludicrously low prices. I`m talking about fairly new DVDs going for about £2.99.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, no matter how wrong it is ;-)

Cash Converters! - about half my 200+ collection is secord-hand, at £6 each.
And I`ve never had any problems with any of them.

HMV are really the best as they carry the widest variety of movies of any high street chain and often, but not always, have some prety good deals going on. You just have to patient and wait for the right moment or buy online.
