Page 1 of Splash - should be shut down
Retailer Reviews Forum
is there anyway for us to actually do this?
check this out - i order a title, they charge me twice. i email em - nothing. i call em - spend on hour on the phone on hold listening to their lies `europes premier online retailer`. then get thru - explain situation. they say send a fax and they will sort it out. i do so. still no refund, still no disc.
so the credit card company can so screw them over. i just think we should be able to shut companies like this down.

I`m on the phone right now to moan at them. My current position is 37. Looks like they have a lot of complaints/queries.

Join the club. In spite of being investigated by Jersey Trading Standards, they`re still in operation. Go figure. :/

I`m still waiting for 2 items that were ordered on 18th Nov...They really are s***e >:(
None of you are saying anything that hasn`t already been said.
In their defence, very cheap to buy from, too popular for their own good, urgently need more staff.
Just about sums it up, really..

Its the joy of saving a few quid, sometimes I wonder if I should just go to a high st shop and pay over the odds.
At least if somethings wrong I can just go back to the shop.
One things for certain, no matter how bad Splash are they got some great free coverage on the news last night.
RE: Splash - should be shut down
what news was that?
I`m now 12 in the queue.
RE: Splash - should be shut down
For R1 when I have to use an e-tailer I will. For R2 I just pay a bit more and buy off the High Street; keeps my blood pressure down!

Presumably the thread in the General Forum about a broadcast on Newsbeat (R1) which said that the BMI are trying to stop companies outside the UK (ie CDWOW etc) from importing DVD`s and CD`s into the UK, leaving us all in the capable hands of Splash et al
