Page 1 of Anti-Bargain! CD-WOW cracking down on multiple discounts!

I`ve just had 2 orders cancelled by cd-wow that used the Burtons £1.50 link and a £2 Loreal voucher! It`s against their T&C`s to use more than one discount, but until now i`ve never know them to enforce it.

So be careful if using more than one voucher/link they might cancel your order and as i`ve found, you won`t get a voucher code back! >:(

EDIT: I`ve just looked at their T&C`s and cannot see anything mentioning the use of multiple discounts, but according to both e-mail`s cancelling the dvd`s it is!

Placed an order yesterday combining the £1.50 burton link and a £1 capital one voucher code, just received confirmation of despatch.

Just an idea but maybe they`re only enforcing this and cancelling orders if you`re REALLY taking the p***, e.g. using £3.50 worth of vouchers on a £4.99 product.?? My DVD was originally £10.99.

Anyone else experienced cancelled orders?

Could be they thought I was taking the p*** as the orders were The Fifth Element for £3.49 and Planet of the Apes (original) for £5.49.

That said, my brother ordered Infernal affairs 2 and 3 for £5.49 each and they have been dispatched no problem! Maybe i`m just incredibly unlucky!

Yep - they cancelled an order where I had used one of the Lloyds/TSB vouchers and a link back in late May. That having been said it was a bit cheeky - £2.99 for Aliens (2-disc - director`s cut) - perhaps they just sample a few of the very low price ones - I managed to get a Bug`s Life for £2.99 and a couple more Disney titles!!

Mmmm seems to be a bit hit and miss as I used the Burton`s link (£1.50), the L`Oreal one (£2) AND a 50p off voucher sent with another DVD I ordered. Got a total of £4 off a £6.99 DVD so only ended up paying £2.99!!

i suspect its a random check. because i had a 50p and a £1.50 link combo cancelled.. before..

but i just got a combo of £3.50 off Dawn of the Dead and that was dispatched on friday.

has anyone got any links I can use? :)

This was on the latest email from CDandDVDbargains - obviously CD WOW have decided to clamp down on misuse of discounts. Though I have taken advantage in the past, I won`t be complaining about this as CD WOW are an excellent company with good customer service and very competetive prices in the first place.

I agree. Had some good deals but it`s fair enough.
