Hello all,
Yep question is as the title really, what are they like?? A search showed me people used them 2 yrs ago so they may have changed since then. Does anyone have any more recent experience and what was it like?
Any info appreciated!
Cheers

RE: Anyone used streetsonline recently?
Hi rvshah
I`ve just placed an order on some Disney DVD`s, the ones were you can save £10 when you buy two.
I will let you know how I get on.

I used them at Xmas. They were a bit on the slow side.
They`re part of the same company as MVC and Woolworths, so you shouldn`t have any hassle.

RE: Anyone used streetsonline recently?
My girlfriend ordered a fitness DVD not long ago, and after much waiting and gnashing of teeth she received an e-mail saying it`s not available any more! She was pretty upset as it was a very good price, and it`s not often Streetsonline do have prices that compete with say, Play or CDWOW. Or at least when I check them out, anyway.

I was quite impressed with the service. Ordered on Thursday received the DVD`s on Saturday.

I used to use Streetsonline years ago occasionally when they had a sale on, but I`ve found that even their sale stuff in recent years is woefully overpriced compared to their competitors. I`ve yet to see anything recently on Streetsonline that`s cheaper than the "usual suspects" (CD WOW, play.com, 101cd.com, amazon.co.uk, DVD Soon and so on).
I wouldn`t be surprised if Streetsonline is losing money hand over fist - with their high prices, they`re probably being subsidised by other parts of the Woolies empire I suspect. It is a miracle that their uncompetitive site is still operational after all these years! I personally think that the 1 pound delivery charge they added years back made them very unattractive - just at the very time that everyone else started doing free postage (or "spend X quid and get free postage").

Yep most of their stuff is well overpriced, but the Disney DVD`s by 2 save £10 were still priced at £11.99 as opposed to most other retai;ers putting up their prices to £16ish. I ordered them and was pleased with the results fast delivery got what I ordered.
