Page 1 of CD-WOW new policy - They are no longer accepting multiple vouchers

Couldn`t spot this anywhere else on here. Mods feel free to move if you think it would be better in a more popular forum.

Tried to place an order at lunchtime using a link voucher I had and a voucher code (both legitimately obtained) and i`ve had the order cancelled and a refund with the following email...

discount link system, we have had to implement new procedures and as per
our terms & conditions, i'm afraid only one one voucher or promotional
discount per person per order is allowed, irrespective of the number of
e-mail addresses, card holder addresses or delivery addresses you may
possess. having checked your order, it appears that you have used more
than one promotional code or voucher.

discount links via a partner / affiliate network are not entitled to
use any further voucher or promotional discounts. only one discount
(either voucher or promotional) per transaction is allowed.

cd wow! maintain the right to refuse, and refund if relevant, (even
following acceptance of an order) any transaction where, in its sole
opinion, the customer / transacting party is unauthorised to use multiple
discounts.

we realise that the minority have spoiled it for the majority and for
that we are truly sorry. as a small company, we have been forced to
implement this new system for commercial reasons but this will at least
allow us to keep our prices competitive all year round.

if you would like to place an order in the future, kindly use either a
voucher or a discount link rather than both.

finally, for the genuine majority of our loyal customers, apologies
that we have had to implement such procedures and we hope it will not
deter you from shopping with us in the future.

The only surprising thing is they havent cracked down on this before.

Im sure, using various voucher codes, everything ive bought from CDWOW has been at pretty much cost and I would imagine that it would be the same for most of the bods on the forum. File this one in the `good while it lasted` category.

Still the best on the web so theyve still got my business. Just means the quid off link is going to be the only one I can use. And that really isnt such a problem.

Aye, me too. I just went straight back on and ordered the same item, but with just the link and not the voucher.

Any chance of one of your revealing the "link" you are on about as I use cd-wow often for my R3`s.

thought this happened ages ago because of all the people trying to get cd-wow to pay them to order dvds by using as many vouchers as possible

And me, had to re-order San Andreas (PC) at £22.99 instead of £21.99, still bloody good value (i hope)! 8)
