Central DVD Guide

peb13 (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Monday, 9th July 2001, 21:06

Has anyone used Central DVD Guide?

http://www.dvdguide.com.au

They do free worldwide shipping if you spend $50, which works out at roughly £18. They do use the deducted GST towards the cost of shipping which is fair enough.

Do they use airmail and how long does delivery take as other aussie suppliers usually supply in 4 working days?

How good is their customer service and are they customs friendly?

Any info welcome, thanks.

I asked them about their delivery service and this was the reply:

`We send our packages Economy Air - 7-10 days (free delivery for orders in excess of $50). Faster Air mail is an additional $2 per DVD, and will
arrive in 5-7 days. This isn`t yet an option on our site, we will implement
it within the next couple of weeks, but if you want to use it, it can be
arranged.`

GST on $50 is nearly $5 - if you were ordering 2 DVDs to make up the $50 then its a case of whether you want to save the additional $5 that ezydvd would charge for their faster delivery....
