The one I purchased is the Pioneer clone which has to be chipped, only realised when I got home. Does yours definately not have the service connector and NTSC/PAL switch on the back?

Yamaha AV-S77 Home Cinema System

Has anyone got this? I can`t find any reviews and would appreciate any comments.

Region 4 DVD`s do not have RCE. Enemy at the Gates is only R4 where as Crouching Tiger is dual encoded with both R2 & R4. Check here before you buy any R4 if you do not have a multiregion player:

I picked this double DVD set up at BIG W in Bolton. The VHS versions were also £12.99, thought that they had been mis-priced but scanned at £12.99 on the till, sales assistant didn`t have to overide the price. This is £18.99 on the Woolies website and in their High St. stores.

Do they use airmail and how long does delivery take as other aussie suppliers usually supply in 4 working days?

You will need to do this every time you switch the machine on.

Pioneer DV-340

I`m interested in this player from Richer Sounds. Does anybody know if it is macrovision free? Any opinions on this player would be appreciated.

RE: Region Hack For The Bush 2009 - Anyone? (Oh and another question as well...)

Hardware hacks invalidate your warranty, as this is a remote hack I think it is o.k. but I`m not sure. Is there an option with your player to reset the default settings? If so I think it will be fine.

To set your player to all region, follow the instructions below :
Power on your player

Press Open/Close

Press Zoom

Press a/b

Press Up, Left, Down, Right

The DVD player may show a Region Free message, powering off/on your player does not remove the region free setting.

There is no remote region hack, you will have to get the player chipped.

Cyberhome 512

Has anybody had any problems with their 512? I have recently purchased one of these. It has already been replaced once, the first one froze every now and again, then after 2 weeks the picture jumbled, stuttered and there was no sound. The replacement is overheating, Richer Sounds have offered to replace it again, swap it for another brand of player or I can have a cash refund. Have I just been unlucky? This player has everything that I need, good picture and sound, plays mp3,cdr/cdrw, vcd and is multi-region and macrovision free with the 9.8 firmware. Any feedback on this player would be welcome, so that I can decide what to do.
