Page 1 of CD WOW delivery improving?

Anybody else noticed this? I ordered a couple of DVD`s on Thursday last week (X-Men 3 and Muppet Xmas Carol) and they`ve turned up today! Pretty surprised about it tbh, and had been bracing myself for a week long wait. Have they managed to improve the delivery from HK? Lately their prices are very good too, so I may be using them more if this is the case.

I`ve been waiting over a week now for two dvds so I`m not too overly impressed.

They used to take no more than 4 days.

As long as I`ve bought stuff from them, they`ve taken at least a week to arrive. I don`t mind the wait usually. I think we`re pretty spoiled for the most part with internet delivery services, so having to wait 7 days is no great worry. But to get something from cd-wow in 4 days I thought was pretty good.

I was hoping more of you might step forward and say you`d experienced the same. Still, eh?

my last 5 orders have all arrived in 3 days, & one other in 2 days

I ordered 2 DVDs on Monday 23rd.

On Tuesday I had an e-mail saying one was out of stock and would be delayed.
On Wednesday they BOTH shipped.
I received the one that was "delayed" on Saturday, no sign of the other one yet!

Damn cheap though!

Looks like it is only one of my dvds that has not arrived, the other one hasn`t even been dispatched yet even though the money was taken out of my account on the day I ordered it!

What happened to their `we only take out the money on dispatch of your goods`?

The recent orders that I`ve placed with then have all arrived in good time.

CD Wow have always taken payment at time of order.

I agree that delivery is definitely improving. All my discs have been postmarked Luxembourg with a VAT pre-paid in EU statement.

For my last 3 orders prior to this one they didn`t take my money until the item was dispatched.

Prior to the recent King Kong situation (sorted out nicely by CDWow), I`ve never had to wait more than 4 or 5 days for anything from them - and most things have arrived within a couple of days. I`ve used them regularly for at least three years, and will continue to do so (when their prices are best).
