Page 1 of Buying DVDs from Tescos online- don`t bother!

I have in the past ordered from the Tesco website, about a dozen DVD`s, & I`ve never placed an order for anything without getting a "Order Delayed" e-mail. The latest order, really is the last straw as far as I`m concerned

I ordered this as a fathers day gift for my dad, but because of their incompetent craptacular service, I`m going to have to order it elsewhere. Why do they list stock when they seem to have no ideal when it will be available?
12th May to 10th August is taking the p***
The Hut, Asda, LoveFilm, Currys Entertainment, Dixons Entertainment & ChoicesUK are all selling this dvd for £3 more but at least I`ve got a chance of getting my order in the next 5 days- can`t say that about any order I`ve even placed with Tesco`s
Sod Tesco's, I`m never going to place another order for a DVD with them again >:(

I ordered cd on 23rd july 08, displayed as in stock and despatch in 24 hours. Then got email saying will be in stock 12th August should be despatched then.

Yesterday, got email saying it was despatched on 5th August.

Why can`t there be a law against retailers to says "in stock and despatched within 24hrs" when in fact they don`t really have the item and they need to source it which could take a long time?

I`ve placed 3 orders from Tesco.. Each time I`ve had an email saying that there`s been a delay. :(

i never did cancel the above order, i wanted to see how long these useless tossers could take to deliver- got the following today-

I have no expectation of this order being sent out on Monday, but I`ll wait & see
They will never get another order for me, that`s for sure

I`ve ordered a few things off Tesco and have never received any of them >:(

I still don`t have the order i placed on the 12th May, don`t think they will ever send it out

well, after taking my order on the 12th May, I have just got an e-mail cancelling the order, on the 26th October
What a useless bunch of w***ers >:(

I order Killers Album & G&R new album and they still havnt been sent 5 days after they came out so went to town and got them :)

I ordered a DVD from them a few weeks ago, and it arrived within a few days, as expected.
Ordered a book last Monday and it arrived on Wednesday.
