Page 1 of DDDhouse returns - any point?
Retailer Reviews Forum
Recieved `Blade` yesterday from DDDhouse and it`s a duffer. Have tried it on other machines and no joy. Is it worth my while effortwise and financially to send it back, i.e. how much will it cost to send it air mail to hong Kong.
Also on the web site it states that when you return a disc you do not return the `printed cover and keep case` does this mean the actual disc case? I doubt it as surely the disc would be better protected inside it but need to know.
RE: DDDhouse returns - any point?
Yes very much so.
You need to send them an e:mail to let them know you are returning something.
All they will want is the dvd itself wrapped in something. They will not want the case.
I returned a dvd to them. I sent mine in a Jiffy bag wrapped in tissue paper.
I got a replacement plus `The Mexican` and `Unbreakable` free.
They are an excellent site and I`ve bought loads of stuff from them without any problems.
So it`s worth it !

RE: DDDhouse returns - any point?
yeah i second the reply on this one. they are an absolutely top site who dealt with my problems really quickly. they put most european web sites to shame it has to be said.
Hi troops, I know this is quite an old posting but I just thought I would let you all know the outcome. Got a `package` from DDD on Thursday last ( the 8th May I believe) and opened it with eager anticipation. However I was a tad disappointed to initially find no freebie discs in with the replacement Blade one. This disappointment was short lived however when I sat back to watch Mr Snipes in all his vamp glory to find that this disc also would not play. Got further than the last one, well as that one did not even register that would not be hard, but still no joy. It jumps straight into chapter one, plays for about 20 seconds then sticks. fantastic. Now as it cost me £4.20 to send it back last time I think I shall just keep it and do whatever ...a coaster perhaps!
Why did it cost so much to return? I`ve recently returned my copy of Session 9 (top film, well, the first hour anyway - didnt play beyond that, as the disc was really scratched) and the postage was a quid - for air mail. I just sent the disc in a small bubble packed envelope. Did you send it registered or something?
