the portugese are really p***ing me off cheating greasy bar stewards. I love footbll but this lot are really spoiling it.

I mean Robben is a right faggoty diver, but this Portugese lot are arseholes.

I am a Scot, and I am really glad England didn`t get Scolari if thats how he wants his"players" to act. There is never a friggin sniper around when you need one.

This is great for us either way, i`m sure Fifa was throw the book at Figo/Schneider(sp) retrospectively, i`m guessing one maybe two game bans, (as long as the bookings they got doesn`t cause problems). I`m sure there will be fines a plenty for the Portuguese bench too after the the game is reviewed by the Fifa panel.

I think the Ref did set the tone with a card after 90 secs but these two teams love having a ruck when they meet up so they`ve got no one else to blame but themselves for this situation

I didn`t think the referee did much wrong. The teams really got stuck in and didn`t calm things down even once it became clear he wasn`t going to let things go. The ref didn`t lose it - the players did...

Great so we got Portugal - 90 mins plus of avoiding diving twats!
Wonder what Ruud did for not getting a game?

And it wasn`t just the Portuguese diving/acting - the Dutch did more than their fair share too. :(

Both teams were diving, the Portugese were no worse than the Dutch. After Ronaldo got kicked off the field I suported Portugal, normally since 1974 I`ve always been a big Dutch fan. But this lot are a bunch of cheats.

Well, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was getting info in his earpiece from his linesmen, and like you say he could have booked/sent off a lot more, but that`s the last thing the game needed.
