Page 1 of POLL: Mayweather Vs Hatton Who Will Win

My heart is totally behind Hatton to win, However my only fear is has Hatton got the power to trouble the seasoned pro Mayweather ?.

I really hope Hatton knocks his head off his shoulders.

My head says that the Pretty Boy will have too much speed and too many skills for Hatton to cope with, but I just have a feeling that Hatton`s style is all wrong for Floyd, who lost to Castillo (in my opinion, but the judges gave it otherwise) and Hatton is a better boxer than Castillo and fitter than De La Hoya, who`s pressure gave Mayweather many problems.

Hatton on a close points decision or late stoppage if he manages to break Floyd`s heart.

Completely outclassed in the end. Ive been trying to tell all my friends that realistically he had no chance. Going gunho into a boxer like Mayweather had failiure written all over it. The judges had it 88 - 82, 89 - 81, 89 - 81 before it finished

I`d been saying the same to people I was talking to.

The betting market had been completely mispriced though by the uneducated piling in on Hatton.

All day yesterday he was around 2.7 to win but before fight time when the only people betting were the "real gamblers" he had gone all the way out to around 3.6.

Didn`t see it as one-sided as the judges - well, a Brit was unlikely to get a points verdict against the US golden boy in his own backyard - but Mayweather showed he is different class.

Hatton is a great light-welterweight but it will take a truly great welterweight or light-middleweight to discombobulate Floyd.

I didn`t expect Hatton to be stopped - he`s always showed a good chin and stood up to the best that Phillips, Tackie and Tszyu threw at him, but Mayweather showed the difference between a great light-welterweight and a great fighter. I never had PBF down as a great fighter - a great boxer, yes, but a man who could stand and trade with someone like Hatton shows what a terrific talent he is.

Hatton spoiled his own work by standing too close to PBF, and allowing him to hold on the ref`s blind side and use his shoulders, elbows and forearms to completely annul the Hitman`s body attack. I was not surprised, but disappointed at how prominent Joe Cortez was - breaking them quickly and allowing PBF to fight his fight.

There`s no shame at losing to the world`s best P4P boxer (especially being put down with a shot as good as that) and it`s clear that Hatton`s future lies at 140 - he`s just not a welterweight.
