I don't know if anybody saw the Eni Aluko thing, where she reckoned Arteta had called up his old mate at City and said "any chance you could put in a bogus bid to make the Arsenal bigwigs sit up and put in a proper offer?" I don't know how likely this would be, but would Pep really want to help out a direct rival like that?

I also think that Rice would much more want to choose Arsenal, even if it meant possibly losing out on nailed-on silverware - he wouldn't have to move family out of London, guaranteed to start most games, likely captaincy in near future and he'd also be part of the Arsenal narrative if they did get back to success of yesteryear instead of walking into a side that's done it all.

I think she needs to change her weed dealer.

Seemed like he was always going to Arsenal, not necessarily because we were willing to outbid everyone, just that he seemed to prefer Arsenal and West Ham just wanted to squeeze the most out of it.

Can't blame West Ham for trying to get as much as possible.
As for 90 million being cheap.
As he's gone for 100 plus possibly an extra 5 then yes 90 would have been comparatively cheap.

EDIT:
Seems Jonas is busy as well. (Who's the Edu equivalent for AWFC?)
Forward Cloe Lacasse has signed from Benfica and Alessia Russo seems nailed on as well, no club negotiations needed as I think she's out of contract.

I wonder what the situation is with Viv as she's just started training on grass again but I thought she was about to be out of contract.

Nowhere should Rice for £90m be considered cheap, especially when it was a bid matching Arsenal's AFAIK. That he's gone for a bit more doesn't make £90m cheap either.
