Also I go back to last season's mantra 'If that had been Xhaka'.

Decent performance but we've started the season by taking our foot of the gas at 1.0 again

Road our luck more than somewhat today.
That save from Raya is unlikely to be bettered all season.

There will be those screaming for Trossard to start after that but I think with 5 subs allowed the game is moving much more towards having, what the Rugby world call, finishers. They used to call them super subs.

Nice to see Partey score and finally keep one below bar height but I'm still not that big a fan.

Overall not a blinding performance but a very nice three points we could not really have had an excuse for not getting.

Yeah, our bogey team away, still a win is a win even if we tried our best to lose it. Raya definitely the reason we did.

One more should-be-easy-win home game then some tough away ones. Hope we have a new striker and midfielder by then.
