Sounds good, as a spin off could go out in many tangents to the original quest.

Wounder who the actors will be, I bet they are all desperate  for a major role.

Presumably if it's Lord of the Rings it'll follow the same story as Lord of the Rings.

Seems strange that a new version would be needed and then you realise the film series finished 15 years ago!

Will very much look forward to this.

edit: after reading the article it does appear to be some sort of spin-off rather than a straight up re-telling.
