Your Opinions and Comments
What about the disc contents?? There is a choice between the theatrical release or the full branching version(extra scenes), deleted scenes, production vignettes(whatever that is!!),The music video `Breakout` by the Foo Fighters, DVD Rom features and more... Its in anamorphic widescreen and in dolby surround sound. To sum up, this is an excellent DVD with lots of extras and my only gripe being the swearing in the movie. I bought it without seeing it before and im happy with my purchase.
The video transfer is very good. Beats me why anyone needs THX for this kind of a movie, but hey - I`m not complaining.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is good. While the surrounds are rarely used (only for trains and bikes drive by), the overall sound is enveloping and good.
The menus are all hilariously animated with sound.
The extras include a commentary (not too interesting), some deleted scenes, a lot of behind the scenes looks and a music video. Unfortunately, there are no outtakes, which would`ve been awesome, knowing just how crazy Jim Carey really is. All in all, while the extras are not that interesting, their amount sure is impressive.
Bottom line - a rather dumb movie with some hilarious moments. You`re bound to love the cow. :)
