Synopsis:
Two Mumbai crooks, called Jai (Sanjay Dutt) and Veeru (Govinda), hits disaster when they are accidentally involved in the death of Tiger (Rajat Bedi), the younger brother of the local underworld don Sir John (A. Vidyarthi). When Sir John hears of his brothers death he orders the death of Jai and Veeru. To avoid Sir John, the two crooks run away to Goa on a train and while on there Jai meets and literally takes the identity of an NRI called Vikram (Aasif), who was to visit his relatives which he has never seen before.

The crooks frame Vikram as a thief and Jai take his place, while Veeru pretends to be his personally assistant. Luck strikes for them when they are taken to Vikram`s relative Raisaab (Anupam Kher) a rich industrialist who lives with his three brothers, two sister-in-laws and a daughter. The crooks decide to rob Raisaab and wait for the right moment, but while waiting they begin to develop feelings for the family. Jai and Veeru then learn that Raisaab`s business is in trouble and is in debt to the bank owners and that Vikram`s real purpose of visit was to run the business. Raisaab hands the business to the crooks who begin to run his factory quite successfully.

Meanwhile Sir John arrives in Goa trying to find Jai and Veeru.

Will Sir John get his revenge? Will Raisaab discover the true identity of Jai and Veeru? And what happens to the crooks who have developed feelings for the family?
