Synopsis:
The film follows the story of Priya (Kajol), a young woman finishing her studies at a catholic convent. Her father wishes her to take over his undergarment business, but Priya wants to be a nun. This upsets her father. Her mother superior tells her to see what life is like outside the convent and if she still has the wish to become a nun then she should come back. Priya heeds the advice of the mother superior and lives with her father for a few days.

Mother Superior’s nephew Thomas (Arvind Swamy) secretly loves Priya but doesn’t have the courage to tell her as her dreams to become a nun grows stronger. Thomas then learns of a person who has the ability to change a person’s mind. Thomas hires the happy-go-lucky man called Deva (Prabhu Deva) to help convey his love towards Priya. Over the next few weeks Deva tries his best to show Priya how colorful life is, but also begins to fall slowly in love with her...
