Synopsis:
Believing his political career is over, Senator Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty) takes out an enormous insurance policy, and a contract on his own life. But his impending death fills him with an outrageous desire to break the rules and tell it like it is.

Suddenly the Senator is the surprise political favorite and falls hopelessly in love with Nina (Halle Berry), a beautiful, young activist form the inner city. Now that the Senator has found a new reason to live, he must also find the hit man who`s out to kill him!
