ANY HACKS FOR THE SONY DVP-S536?

A friend of mine has a Sony DVP-S536 DVD player and wanted to know if any region hacks are available for this machine?

It`s now only region 2 - and a multi-region hack would be very helpful.

Hitachi DV-P505e any info please?

I have a Hitachi DV-P5053 DVD player and through the help from this forum, it is now region free and I know how to get to the Loop-Holes menu.

But I have one further question for YOU clever people out there, is there any setting which clears up the picture of a VCD movie?

I remember coming across something before, concerning how to set the DVD player to play a clearer picture, but I lost the connection and are yet to find the page again.

I recently have bought some VCD movies and I know they not up to DVD standard, but I would like to know if a clearer picture is possible??
